The walk always begins at the Mission Hills Nursery, which Kate Sessions, “Mother of Balboa Park,” created. A great way to avoid the crowds is to walk the route backwards, this enables you to enjoy a leisurely walk at your own pace and enjoy this truly beautiful neighborhood with all it’s mature gardens and historical homes.
